Your Opinion: Discrimination, government policies

Dear Editor:

As most people should know, black people, Native Americans and Hispanics have always been discriminated against here in the good ole USA. Yes, Asians have, too. Most of these groups have been used as laborers voluntarily, out of necessity many forced, as we know. Wages were lower for these people, too. Opportunities were not available to these people either, because of racism and fear and hate.

Government policies of this nation, federal and local, have kept many down. Central America is a good example. The United States has kept dictators in place throughout Central America. Money and guns all have went south of the border, to leaders just because the U.S. was afraid those nations would turn communist. Most would have been better off communist. They would probably have more food, water, education and medical care.

If you want to complain about money, try looking toward Republicans, too, and the socialist corporate elites in this country, and our trillions spent on war, etc.

As I said in the past LTE, open borders have been said to be one of the best ways to increase wealth, not just to the poor, but even the filthy rich.
