Your Opinion: What if Greitens is innocent?

Dear Editor:

What if he is innocent? The editor of the News Tribune recently wrote a letter where in the first sentence of his editorial he made a brief statement which included: "Innocent until proven guilty." The News Tribune editor concluded his letter by stating the governor should resign. To which, I pose the same question: What if he is innocent?

Since the editor's letter, the News Tribune has been running front page banner headlines about the House Committee investigation, impeachment issues, St. Louis attorneys, etc. However, when the other news outlets reported there was "no photograph," the News Tribune chose to bury that article in the back of the paper - there was no front page banner headline.

What makes the editor of the News Tribune feel that he is the judge and jury regarding this issue? The governor is not being treated fairly by the News Tribune. What if he is innocent?
