Dear Editor:
A worrisome letter appeared in the July 5 edition of the paper.
The last sentence of the letter proclaimed: “All of Islam is the source of the problem.”
Hopefully, the News Tribune’s readers and its editors recognize this speech for what it is.
In the 1920s, the Klan would have substituted for the word “Islam,” the word “niggers,” or “Jews,” or “Catholics.” Oh, I’m wrong, the Klan is still saying those things.
