Dear Editor:
Hello there mister governor. It might be a good time to wake up those Public Service commissioners. You know the ones that allow rates to be raised every time Ameren UE snaps its fingers. I've heard they're getting a 14 percent rate reduction. Seems to me all the water, sewer, electric companies should reduce their rates by 14 percent if they are truly regulated. Please take a break from the lobbyists and the corporations to be all you can be and give a little trickle down to the voters instead of letting this trickle up to the corporations.
A closing thought: Why would any utility company that has a captive group that can only purchase their product or service spend consumers money advertising on television??? I guess these commissioners condone this so they must know. I don't know of anyone that can choose between multiple utility companies. Happy trickle down New Year to all!
