It's been said you get the government you deserve. Right to work was defeated by the process of the initiative petition process. The issue is not about whether unions are good or bad, it's about the process.
Our founding fathers knew that a democracy would never work, so they set up this Representative Republic. Missouri's Constitution is similar. The initiative petition is democracy, which is the same as three wolves and one sheep deciding on what's for dinner, mop rule. It's bad law and should be struck from the Missouri Constitution.
The unions are celebrating while businesses are taking a second hard look into Missouri. For unions it was always just about them and of course the money. For the citizens of Missouri it was much more.
