Your Opinion: When do Dems not lie?

Dear Editor:

Attention, Attention! Remember when Slick Willy said, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky?" In April 2001, Clinton's Arkansas law license was suspended for five years and he was given a $25,000 fine. He agreed to that disbarment as a form of plea bargain in January, on the day before he left office, after reaching a deal to bring an end to the Lewinsky investigation, in which he could have faced charges for contempt. The contempt charges were a result of his lying to the Grand Jury concerning, Jones v. Clinton.

Remember when Hillary said, "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." She later said that she mis-spoke! She mis-spoke?

Remember this, "Brian Williams, the nation's top-rated news anchor, has admitted fabricating a tale of being forced down by enemy fire in a helicopter over Iraq a dozen years ago?" Williams apologized, saying: "I made a mistake in recalling the events of 12 years ago." He made a mistake?

Remember when Richard Blumenthal, senator from Connecticut, said, "We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam. And you exemplify it. Whatever we think about the war, whatever we call it, Afghanistan or Iraq, we owe our military men and women unconditional support." Problem is, he never served in Vietnam!

Remember when Sen. Elizabeth Warren talked about her American Indian heritage, "These are my family stories. This is what my brothers and I were told by my mom and my dad, my mammaw and my pappaw." She has yet to show any documentation that would prove that she is an American Indian. Even though she checked the Native American box when she applied to Penn and Harvard. She became a Harvard Law Professor. That's why President Trump refers to her as Pocahontas.

Donna Brazile has said, "I never had access to questions and would never have shared them with the candidates if I did." However, she has recently said, "My job was to make all our democratic candidates look good, and I worked closely with both campaigns to make that happen. But sending those emails was a mistake I will forever regret."

When do Democrats not lie?
