What did we learn from Comey's (the FBI director of "Matters") testimony yesterday? I call him that because Attorney General Loretta Lynch knowing, that she and Comey would testify on the Clinton email scandal, directed him to call it a matter, not an investigation and he did so. I guess investigations sound too criminal unless you are speaking of a conservative.
We learned that the left and the lame stream media for the last 10 months have been pushing a dishonest false narrative that the Trump administration colluded with the Russians to throw the election. The New York Times yesterday could not find their anonymous sources! Three times Comey told Trump he was not under investigation for this. It was also stated that Trump, nor anyone in his administration asked that the Russian probe be stopped. These lies were to delay Trump from moving forward on improving healthcare, lowering taxes, building the wall and are wasting taxpayer's dollars.
We learned the private meeting with Trump Comey called on Jan. 6 after an intelligence briefing was deemed OK. But, the left only saw a nefarious, damming reason for Trump's private meeting later with Comey. Had Comey felt this was obstructing justice, he had a legal obligation to report it, resign, and by not taking those actions, he could face criminal prosecution. Immediately after that meeting, Comey made notes on government property which then belongs to the government. He gave these to a colleague to "leak to the media," so a "special prosecutor" would be called, and that happened. This "leaking" may violate FBI records act and has been turned over to the Judicial Deptartment and Inspector General's office.
Comey on May 3 in a congressional inquiry testified that during his tenure as FBI director, he didn't recall one time that he was pressured to do something illegal. Trying to justify his actions, Comey stated that he felt Trump may lie - what did you just do Mr. Comey? You are the experienced lawyer, who had a special prosecutor advising you on your testimony and Trump, used to getting things done, is not used to parsing every single word.
This hysteria will continue daily from the left, their lame stream media and we should acknowledge it for what it is - fake news!
