Your Opinion: Threat, at best, misguided

Dear Editor:

Mr. Harry Trickey's worry about a dangerous threat mentioned in his editorial on the 23rd is misguided at best and "fake news" at worse. There has not been a better friend of the Jewish people and nation in the past eight years, than who is now the occupant of the White House, President Trump.

The vandalism of the Jewish cemetery near St. Louis was done by persons unknown. What we do know about them is that they need to be caught and punished. What we do not know is if racist Nazis inspired by President Trump are responsible. How you drew the line and connected the dots from President Trump to this cemetery is beyond any reasonable comprehension.

Yes this happened at a Jewish cemetery, but this type of stupid idiocy happens at Catholic cemeteries as well. Idiots that show this type of behavior span the spectrum of race, religion, and ages. Both are heinous acts but hardly instigated by President Trump.

Where Mr. Trickey was your outrage when Obama snubbed the Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House? Where was your editorial condemning the nuclear deal with Iran that the Jewish nation strongly condemned and contested?

Your concern and fear are misplaced. The VP and the governor were at the cemetery doing repairs and Rep. Barnes along with Sen. Kehoe are in Jefferson City doing what they should be doing. Obama on the other hand, champion of the liberal causes, is still cheering the actions of Black Lives Matters. There in lies your dangerous threat Mr. Trickey, not President Trump.
