Dear Editor:
I received a letter from a friend, saying that she had wanted to call me, but I wasn't in the phone book. I looked, sure enough, I was not listed.
I called Mediacom to have that obvious error corrected. I was told that Mediacom was 'going Green,' our phone number could be obtained by going on line, or calling the operator. There are thousands of residential listings. Why not me? I ask your readers to check the book, to see if you are listed.
I am a senior, most of my friends are seniors. Sorry friends, but it's true. We do not go online for a phone number. I don't have, nor do I want a "smart phone." I use a phone to make calls, and a camera to take pictures. All I ask is: Mediacom, put my name and number in the book.

The author's name must appear with the letter, and the name, address and phone number provided for verification. Letters that cannot be verified by telephone will not be published.
