Dear Editor:
I don't know about you, but I was deeply offended when I found out that I was in the "basket of deplorables." I have been married to the same woman for over 51 years, neither of us have had an extramarital affair, both of us have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal savior at an early age, we are both members of a KJV Bible believing, growing church here in Jefferson City. Am I deplorable because of this? To the Democrat running for president, she thinks I am.
To show some contrast, I haven't lost my law license in the state of Arkansas because I lied to a federal grand jury. For your information I served on the federal grand jury in Jefferson City as the foreman in 2009. We take lying to the grand jury very seriously. You might say that lying to the grand jury is "very deplorable." I didn't pay a former concubine over $700,000 to settle a lawsuit. You might say that behavior is "deplorable." You must keep this just between you and me; after all I don't want to end up like Vince Foster!
I think it is "deplorable" that we continue to fund an organization that performs about 30 percent of the abortions in the USA. About 54,000,000 unborn babies since 1973, that did not get the chance to live a life, like you and I. I think it is "deplorable" that the NCAA has removed their post-season tournaments from North Carolina, because N.C. doesn't want men to use the women's bathroom or locker room. I think it is "deplorable" that Pay Pal decided to not expand their facility in Charlotte N.C. because of the bathroom issue. I think it is "deplorable" when I hear the mainstream media say that Donald Trump is a "birther." Who started this idea in the first place? It was Hillary Clinton supporters back in 2007 and 2008 time frame that brought it up as she was running, not too successfully, against Obama.
So, if I am "deplorable," why is POTUS 42 so revered by Democrats for all his prior despicable acts? There is no doubt in my mind that the same kind of misbehaving is continuing and will further continue, in the future. His wife seems to me to be an enabler of his bad behavior.
