Your Opinion: Climate change hoax threatens economy

Dear Editor:

I'm writing this letter to appeal to your readers to rethink support of the politicians and the climate change hoax promoters who, through massive public media campaigns, are about to turn our country into a third world economy. Following are three websites with limited quotes as evidence of my concerns and a warning regarding the perilous direction of our government's energy policies.

A 10/1/2016 article by James Delingpole: "James Lovelock, Godfather of Green: Climate Change Religion is Bunk" (http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/10/01/james-lovelock-godfather-green-climate-change-religion-totally-unscientific/)

Quotes from the article: James Lovelock, inventor of Gaia Theory and godfather of the modern environmental movement, has finally renounced the green religion. Climate alarmism, he says, is not "remotely scientific"; one volcano could make more difference to global warming than humans ever could; the computer models are "unreliable"; greens have behaved "deplorably"; and anyone who tries to "predict more than five to ten years is a bit of an idiot."

I call your attention to another article. A 9/30/2016 article by James Delingpole: "Coming to a Town Near You: The Great Green Energy Disaster" (http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/09/30/coming-town-near-great-green-energy-disaster/).

Segmented quotes from the article: In South Australian blackouts this week a lot of people were stuck in a broken down elevators or trains that suddenly stopped or stuck on aeroplanes unable to disembark or in their homes without TV or refrigeration or air-conditioning or hot food or heating or internet.

The price of living with 'PEC'when the system shuts down to protect itself from wind power surges and collapses. PEC stands for Power Electric Converter, the local euphemism for wind and solar energy."

A 10/1/2016 article by: Chriss W. Street: "California's 'Renewable' Energy Grid on Verge of Crisis" (http://www.breitbart.com/california/2016/10/01/californias-renewable-energy-grid-on-verge-of-crisis/)

Quotes from the article: California claims to be able to permanently replace fossil-fuel generated electricity with "intermittent" wind and solar generation, but the state's electrical grid is on the verge of crisis as it may soon run out of the ability to import enough fossil-fuel electricity."

Wake up America. Protect our energy sources from the climate change hucksters!
