I am happy to read about recent political debates. I am happy to read about the inclusion of third-party candidates, and an independent candidate, in recent debates.
According to recent Associated Press stories published in the News Tribune, the Missouri Press Association sponsored two such events at their recent convention in Branson. The elections in question are for Missouri governor and U.S. senator.
It is good to hear many voices. The "two-party system" seems to have hijacked our election process.
Perhaps we should put the Missouri Press Association in charge of U.S. presidential debates.
