Dear Editor:
I'd like to put forth just one of my many thoughts on the national gun control debate. So, Let's keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill, they say. It's just common sense, they say. And all the people whose doctors prescribe them mind-altering pharmaceuticals nod their heads in agreement.
Over here in the cheap seats, I say the plan is far more advanced and far more complex than people realize. Think about this for a minute. By using major media outlets - all of them - "they" are brainwashing the populace.
Now, hang on a minute, I'm not done yet. Think - we hear the same things over and over and over again - that is how you program a brain - repetition. Therefore, again thinking on society as a whole, control the populace by making them (the populace) believe they are right.
Then there are those of us like myself who do not pay that much attention to major media outlets - so it isn't working on us, therefore, we are the bad people. I have watched so many people who used to be a staunch conservative in every way suddenly spout left-wing, liberal ideas, yet they maintain they are conservative Republicans. In their minds they are - but they are toting liberal lefts line.
Seriously, think about it folks.
