On July 26, 2016, grown women and young girls across the country were finally seated at the American table. This is front page news.
A woman has been nominated to be president. There will be people who resent this presence, but one hopes the resentment will be seen as wrong and unfounded over time.
All of us, our daughters and sons, our mothers and fathers should be proud of the progress we are making.
May our American journey continue on this righteous path.
And may any other institutions that restrict women's equality take notice.
