Thank you for the article last week by Gerry Tritz about the leadership of the Downtown Association.
As Grace Episcopal Church's representative to the association since we joined eight years ago, I have been impressed by the commitment and hard work of the association to improve our downtown and our whole community.
Although it is primarily a business organization, the other members welcomed Grace Episcopal Church and encouraged our participation.
Through our membership we have become more closely connected with our neighborhood and formed partnerships with other community groups.
The association has led an impressive revitalization of our downtown over the past 10 years and has been served by a number of excellent leaders.
However, retiring president Stephanie Bell has been nothing short of amazing in her vision, dedication, management, attention to detail and commitment to improving Jefferson City during her three years as president.
She is a true inspiration, and our entire community owes her a huge "Thank you."
