Stephany Schler - the director of the Mid-MO Adult Learning Center for one more week, before Bradley Dorris will become the new director starting July 1 - said the learning center's class of 2019 had 66 graduates who earned their high school equivalency degrees, from programs for Jefferson City, Eldon, Fulton, Versailles and the Cremer Therapeutic Community Center.

The graduating class' planned ceremony was canceled because of the May 22 tornado that hit Jefferson City and Eldon, but Schler said graduates would have the opportunity to walk on stage at next year's ceremony, and diplomas were to be mailed to graduates who did not already pick them up.
