Four windows at Helias High School were broken last week.

Helias Director of Facilities Travis Reinsch said Monday that windows of a computer lab, choir room, the school office and another room had been broken.

Reinsch said there had not been any other observed damage to the school's property.

"We are working to get an estimate," he said of how much damage had been done. As of Monday, the broken windows had been patched but not yet fixed.

Helias Director of Communication and Admissions Sandy Hentges said the windows had been broken by rocks thrown at them. Hentges said that happened at about 4 a.m. Thursday, and the school turned over video footage of the incident to the police.

"We have external video in all of our parking lots" and around the building, Reinsch said.

Jefferson City Police Department Lt. David Williams said Monday the department had no other information to give.
