Nine offenders were recently sentenced to prison time in the Missouri Department of Corrections in Morgan County Circuit Court action during February.
According to a news release from Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney Dustin Dunklee, the nine offenders were:
Cheire L. Stokes, sentenced to 15 years in prison for class C felony possession of a controlled substance with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.
Robert L. Yount, sentenced to 10 years in prison for class B felony distribution of a controlled substance and seven years prison for the class C felony of a felon in possession of a firearm (both counts ran concurrently) with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.
Timothy G. Brown, sentenced to eight years in prison for class B felony distribution of a controlled substance.
Lawrance J. Giddens, sentenced to four years in prison for class D felony resisting arrest.
Joey L. Allen, sentenced to seven years in prison for class C felony possession of a controlled substance.
Ronald W. Butts, sentenced to 10 years in prison for class B felony DWI (chronic offender).
Stephen A. Uber, sentenced to seven years in prison for class C felony possession of a controlled substance.
Terrell L. Bailey, sentenced to 10 years in prison for class C felony possession of a controlled substance with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.
Douglas M. Lohman, sentenced to 10 years in prison for class B felony distribution of a controlled substance.
