Boonville woman charged after chase

A Boonville woman has been charged in connection with a Wednesday night chase with Jefferson City police that ended in Callaway County.

Mallory Seales, 22, is charged with resisting arrest and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

At 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, an officer on routine patrol saw a vehicle he recognized with a wanted suspect, Seales, at a west end convenience store on West Truman Boulevard, according to a Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement.

When he attempted to stop the car, a pursuit began at Ventura Avenue and Del Ray Avenue and went through Jefferson City eventually into Callaway County.

With the assistance of the Callaway County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol, Seales was stopped and arrested. She had felony warrants from probation and parole for her arrest.

As of Thursday afternoon, Seales was being held in the Cole County Jail.

No one was injured during the pursuit.
