Two fatalities reported in Thursday wrecks

A Jefferson City man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night in Audrain County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 7:55 p.m. on Missouri 19, a half-mile south of the Audrain/Ralls County line.

Ronald Gough, 45, of Jefferson City, and Laurance Hoyt, 85, of Laddonia, were going south on 19 when Hoyt slowed to make a right turn into a driveway, and Gough collided with the rear end of Hoyt's vehicle.

Gough was pronounced dead at the scene. Hoyt had minor injuries. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.

A Barnett man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Morgan County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on Kay Hollow Lane, three miles north of Lakewood Lane, around noon.

Jack Kehl, 88, went off the right side of the road, struck a tree, went down an embankment and struck several more trees.

Kehl was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
