8:30 a.m., annual Thanksgiving Day Pie Run, organized by the Jefferson City Road Runners and USA track and field certified, will begin at the multipurpose building in North Jefferson City and includes a 5K, 10K and 5K walk, 573-295-4012, runjeffcity.org

9 a.m., Thanksgiving service at Faith Lutheran Church, 2027 Industrial Drive.

9 a.m., Thanksgiving Mass at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 2305 W. Main St.

9 a.m., Thanksgiving Day Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway St.

9 a.m., Thanksgiving Day Mass at St. Martins Catholic Church, St. Martins.

9 a.m., Thanksgiving Day Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Route M.

9 a.m., Thanksgiving Mass at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Holts Summit.

9 a.m., Thanksgiving Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eldon.

10 a.m., Thanksgiving Day Mass at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth.

11 a.m.-2 p.m., Thanksgiving dinner at the American Legion, 1423 Tanner Bridge Road. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for ages 5-10.

11 a.m., free Thanksgiving dinner at New Bloomfield United Methodist Church, New Bloomfield, 573-230-8673.

11 a.m.-1 p.m., free Thanksgiving meal for the community served at First Baptist Church, 301 E. Capitol Ave.

11 a.m., Thanksgiving dinner will be served to residents of the Dulle and Hamilton Towers by members of Immaculate Conception Church.

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Thanksgiving Day dinner will be served in Kertz Hall at Immaculate Conception Parish, 1206 E. McCarty St.

Bible Baptist Church members will deliver Thanksgiving-style meals to local emergency responders.

10 a.m.-2 p.m., Shopping Alternatives: Oh Deer! will be hosted at the Runge Conservation Nature Center. No registration required, 573-526-5544.
