COLUMBIA (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a man at a Columbia motel as a homicide.
Police said the man was found dead Thursday night in a room at the Welcome Inn from an apparent gunshot wound.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports police spokeswoman Bryana Larimer said the man was a long-term resident of the motel. The name of the man wasn't immediately released, pending notification of relatives.
