Thousands of visitors from across Missouri enjoyed chatting with more than 150 businesses during EXPO 2014 Saturday at the Country Club Hotel and Spa in Lake Ozark.
Presented by the Camdenton Chamber of Commerce, EXPO 2014 celebrates 35 years of its annual Lake of the Ozarks Products and Services Show and hosted nearly 200 businesses at this year's weekend-long event, which ends this afternoon.
EXPO 2014 attendees chatted with business associates and browsed through a wide range of products and services including consumer goods, building contractors and suppliers, plumbing and electrical supplies, home improvement and remodeling, home furnishings, heating and air conditioning, landscaping, financial and banking services, insurance, office equipment, electronics, insurance, boat and marine products, recreational vehicles and more.
According to Camdenton Chamber Executive Director Trish Creach, the show allows businesses to promote and sell their goods and services to two markets - other businesses and consumers. In fact, EXPO 2014 features a diverse selection of products and services for business and Lake living, she said.
"The 35th Annual Products and Services Show (gives) businesses the opportunity to have direct access to over 5,000-plus potential customers, showcases business' products and services and increases brand exposure while driving traffic to businesses in just two days," Jack Dunn, Products and Services Show chairman said. "It is a tremendous return on investment."
The 35th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Products and Services Show offers free admission, free shuttle and free parking. It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
