Two-vehicle crash leaves JC woman injured

A Jefferson City woman was treated for moderate injuries after a two-vehicle crash Thursday night in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Pauline Imsland, 88, was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on Missouri 17 at Route BB.

A vehicle driven by Patrick Nevins, 30, Henley, was stopped to make a left turn onto Route BB and was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Shirley Downing, 67, Jefferson City.

Imsland was riding with Downing.

Downing and Nevins had no reported injuries.

All three individuals in the crash were wearing seat belts.

A Hallsville man was treated for moderate injuries after crashing his motorcycle Thursday night in Callaway County.

Patrol reports show Russell Gowin, 59, overturned his car about 5:05 p.m. on Route WW at Country Road 259, while traveling over loose gravel through a curve.
