One accident injures 5

Five people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 8:15 p.m. Sunday on Boeckman Bridge Road north of Pioneer Road in Miller County.

The patrol reported that a 2012 Polaris Ranger, driven northbound by Ashley N. Hart, 14, Jefferson City, lost control when the the boot of the driver became lodged in the accelerator pedal. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned ejecting the driver and all occupants.

Ashley was taken to Capital Region Medical Center along with four passengers: Lily A. Bax, 11, Jefferson City; Moira L. Bax, 8, Jefferson City; Sydney R. Nivens, 14, Jefferson City; and Rachel M. Woehr, 9, Westphalia.

No one was wearing a seat belt.

In other area wrecks:

• A Jefferson City teen was injured in a one-car accident at 9:05 p.m. Sunday on Route E east of County Road 632 in Osage County.

According to the patrol report a 2004 Hyundai Sonata, driven eastbound by Halee J. Lock, 17, ran off the right side of the road and struck two fences.

Lock was taken to Capital Region Medical Center.

She was wearing a seat belt.

• Two teens were injured in a one-car accident at 3:15 p.m. Sunday on Webb Road east of Missouri 135 in Morgan County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven eastbound by Mariah C. Adams, 19, Kaiser, lost control on a gravel road, traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Adams and a passenger, Cheyenne M. Nott, 18, Eldon, were taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

Neither was wearing a seat belt.

• A Camdenton woman was injured in a one-car accident at 3:30 p.m. Sunday on Missouri 7 west of Missouri 5 in Camden County.

The patrol reported a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, driven westbound by Charity M. Cronin, 20, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.

Cronin was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

She was not wearing a seat belt.

• A Russellville man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 4:45 p.m. Sunday on Zion Road west of Kaiser Lane in Cole County.

The patrol reported a 2011 Lincoln Continental, driven westbound by Edward Kissinger, 80, Jefferson City, was traveling in the wrong lane and struck a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven eastbound by Scott A. Fisher, 32, Russellville. The Fisher vehicle then went off the right side of the road, ejecting Fisher.

Fisher was taken to St. Mary's Health Center.

Kissinger was wearing a seat belt and Fisher was wearing a safety device.
