Two Holts Summit residents arrested on drug charges

Two Holts Summit residents are in Callaway County Jail following a narcotics search warrant.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Department arrested Amanda Owens, 23, and Jarod Atterberry, 20, both of Holts Summit after the sheriff's deputies and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force allegedly seized marijuana, synthetic cannaboids (K2) and drug paraphernalia from an apartment on Evergreen Drive, according to a press release.

Sgt. Shannon Jeffries with the sheriff's office said officers obtained two pounds worth of marijuana and synthetic cannaboids, and the seized paraphernalia is "commonly associated with ingestion and distribution."

Both are being charged with possession of a controlled substance, synthetic cannaboid (K2) and drug paraphernalia. Owens is facing an additional charge of resisting arrest. Bond was set at $10,000 each.
