HERMANN, Mo. - Alison Mehmert surpassed 1,000 career points as the Chamois Lady Pirates claimed a 45-23 win against Wright City in a losers bracket semifinal game in the Hermann Tournament Wednesday night.
Mehmert finished with a game-high 19 points, while Paige Nolte added 16 to lead Chamois (9-7).
The Lady Pirates led 14-5 after the first quarter, 18-13 at halftime, and took a 31-19 advantage into the final period.
Chamois will play Warrenton at 6 p.m. Friday in a consolation game.
