HALLSVILLE - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons overcame an 11-point first-quarter deficit and went on to post a 45-37 win against Hallsville on Monday night.
Blair Oaks trailed 18-7 after the first quarter, but outscored Hallsville 25-12 in the next two periods to take a 32-30 lead into the final stanza and the Lady Falcons didn't look back from there.
Lauren Viessman scored a game-high 18 points, while LeeAnn Polowy added 14 points to help lead Blair Oaks (10-5).
Nadine Kaufman scored 12 points to pace Hallsville.
Blair Oaks will host St. James on Thursday.
The Lady Falcons' junior varsity team rolled to a 56-25 win against Hallsville in the opener.
Carli Buschjost poured in 16 points to lead Blair Oaks.
