Chiefs sign 7 players to reserve-future contracts

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The Chiefs have signed seven players to reserve/future contracts, including running back Joe McKnight, a former fourth-round pick of the New York Jets.

Also signed by the Chiefs on Saturday were linebacker Jordan Campbell, cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke, defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton, offensive tackle R.J. Dill, defensive back Jerron McMillian and defense end Brandon Moore.

The Chiefs did not announce the signings, which showed up on the NFL's transaction report.

McKnight is the most notable name among the seven players. The former Southern California star played in 39 games over three seasons with the Jets, running for 502 yards and catching 17 passes for 177 yards. He also returned kicks and punts.

McKnight was released by the Jets before this season.
