NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - A change of venue couldn't stop St. Elizabeth.
After a leaky roof forced a scheduled home game to be played on the road, the Lady Hornets defeated the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats 51-37 on Friday.
St. Elizabeth went up 12-8 after one quarter, 24-19 at halftime and 43-24 after three periods.
Allie Heckemeyer paced the Lady Hornets with 16 points, Savannah Stiles added 14 and Haven Bax had 10.
Sydni Bedsworth paced New Bloomfield (7-3) with 10 points.
St. Elizabeth (4-3) plays Blair Oaks on Monday in the Fatima Tournament.
