OWENSVILLE, Mo. - Fourth-seeded Linn rallied for a 53-51 victory against fifth-seeded Hermann in the first round of the Owensville Tournament on Thursday night.
Linn led 15-12 after one quarter before the teams entered halftime tied at 25. Hermann took a 44-40 lead into the the final period before the Wildcats rallied for the win.
Jesse Wiggins paced Linn with 16 points, while Sam Vogel added 13. Craig Winkelmann led Hermann with 19 points while Mat Hug added 13.
Linn (5-2) plays top-seeded Pacific today.
