Blair Oaks captures three duals Wednesday

ST. CHARLES - The Blair Oaks Falcons allowed just 18 team points in sweeping three wrestling duals Wednesday night.

Blair Oaks posted victories against St. Charles Lutheran (62-3), Priory (53-12) and Westminster Christian (58-3).

Finishing 3-0 for the Falcons were London Gaydos at 120 pounds (WBTF, won by forfeit, won 9-3); Bo Thomas at 126 (won by forfeit, won by forfeit, won 15-6); Frankie Falotico at 132 (won by forfeit, WBTF, WBF); Alex Gaydos at 138 (WBF, won 5-1, won by forfeit); Cole Kemna at 170 (WBF, WBF, won by forfeit); Corbin Singer at 195 (WBF, won by forfeit, WBF); and Levi Dial (won by forfeit at 285, WBF and WBF at 285).

Shintaro Hatashima was 2-0 at 152 (won by forfeit and won 7-5), while Brad Thomas won by fall at the weight. Tanner Lueckenhoff won two decisions at 182, while John Karsten won twice by forfeit at 285. Paul Karsten won once by fall at 145, while Ben Campbell won once by forfeit at 160.

Blair Oaks, which was open at 106 and 113 in the three duals, is back in action Tuesday at Owensville in a dual orginally scheduled for Wardsville.

Jays-Rolla dual rescheduled

The Jefferson City Jays dual against the Rolla Bulldogs, scheduled for Wednesday night, has been rescheduled for tonight at Fleming Fieldhouse.

The junior varsity and C team duals will start at 6 p.m., with the varsity to follow around 7 p.m.
