Dear Editor:
As the Legislature gears up for session this month with tax issues on the agenda, I can think of no better start than eliminating the one-eighth cent sales tax afforded the Conservation Department.
Sunday's classified ad said it all: The Conservation Department wants a pilot capable for its Cessna T210, 402C, BE 200 and Bell Jet Ranger aircraft.
Is there justification for even one plane? I think not.Â
