WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Fatima Lady Comets used a big third quarter Saturday afternoon to pull away to a 70-38 victory against the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons.
Fatima led 21-10 after one quarter and took a 39-29 advantage into intermission. The Lady Comets then used a 24-7 advantage in the third quarter to take a 63-36 lead into the final period.
Morgan Brandt tossed in a game-high 29 points, including five 3-pointers, for the Lady Comets. Annie Bock added 14 for Fatima (6-3), slated to host Southern Boone on Monday.
LeeAnn Polowy finished with 14 points for Blair Oaks. Sara Jones added 12 for the Lady Falcons (7-2), who will play Tuesday at Centralia.
