Dear Editor:
Once again the "usual suspects" (frequent Opinion Page screed writers) have surfaced from the murky depths of their various ideological oozes to feed upon Jim Dyke's polarizing cartoon chum (global warming, taxes, drugs, Obamacare, etc.)
Every time I see another of Dyke's conservative, pot-stirring cartoons I experience the same giddy excitement I felt as a small boy waiting for feeding time at the St. Louis Zoo's monkey house. Just like the monkeys, the "usual suspects" never let me down.
Let's face it. Your opinion page is largely a carnival side-show. And you, Mr. Editor are the barker.
And yes; God help me, I continue to pay my dime and "step right in" to see the freak show.
