CALIFORNIA, Mo. - Sydney Deeken fell just shy of a triple-double in leading the California Lady Pintos to a 56-21 victory against the Mexico Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday night.
Deeken tossed in 23 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked seven shots. Mara Caudel added 14 points for the Lady Pintos.
California led 10-5 after one quarter, 20-8 at halftime and 39-11 after three frames.
Mexico falls to 10-8 on the season.
California (15-7) travels Thursday to Warsaw.
California won the JV game 47-14.
