Wrestling: Jays take second

IMPERIAL, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays wrestling team earned a second-place finish at the Seckman Tournament on Saturday.

The Jays tallied 167 points, while Seckman won the tournament with 207. C.B.C took third with 122 points and St. Charles West was fourth with 112.

Earning first-place finishes for the Jays were Corbin Howard at 120 pounds and Jalen Martin at 170.

Jacob Brune (132), Logan Moriarity (145) and Logan Coil (285) each took second, while Dennis Barnes (106), Zach Benge (113) and Christian Mayberry (126) earned third-place finishes.

Zach Hurley (138) and Devin Miller (160) both took fifth to help lead Jefferson City.
