The Jays Kids Wrestling Club played host to more than 500 wrestlers from across the state Saturday for the Casey J. Luebbert Memorial Tournament.
Here are the Jays who placed at the event:
• 6-and-under - Cameron McKee, first; Clark Beasley, second; Julian Hooper, third; Tobey Richardson, fourth; Blair Borlinghaus and Davis Wilkinson, fifth.
• 8-and-under - Hurley Jacobs Jr. and Elijah Teiberis, first; Sophie Jakob, second; Payton Hinton, third; Douglas Blaha Jr., Dominic Stafford, Colton Ketchum, Gage Beasley, Noa Cunningham and Sophie Pottter, fourth.
• 10-and-under - Jabari Hubbard, Joseph Schaefer, William Berendzen and Tanner Quick, first; Ted Krause, Silas Porter, Ethan Garnett, Omer Ballinger and Austin Potter, second; Rylee Hinton, Erick Richardson and A'Tiq Muhammad, third; Shawn Jacobs and Clayton Hurley, fourth; Skylar Hile and Lori Edgar, fifth; Quincy Frye, sixth.
• 12-and-under - Kenny Richardson, first; Zak Wilson, Brandon Backues, Michael Friederich and Johnathan Edgar, second; Jack Salmons, third; Peyden Childress and Corbin Rowland, fourth; Samuel Jakob, Zion Smith and Cameron Cooper, fifth.
• 14-and-under - Eli Doyle and Cole Bax, third; Reece Neighbors, fourth.
The team will wrestle Sunday at the Fulton Tournament.
