The Strut Your Style fashion show and luncheon is May 5 at the Jefferson City Country Club.
The show is dedicated to the celebration of breast cancer survivors and all proceeds benefit The Community Breast Care Project, a nonprofit foundation that raises awareness of breast health and breast cancer treatment by providing educational, financial and emotional support to the Central Missouri community.
"This show is a celebration of breast cancer survivors who have been in the fight for their life," said Sherrie Brant, chairman of the show.
The show's 15 models are local cancer survivors, including two men.
The event also includes exhibit booths and a silent auction.
While the show is sold out, the public is invited to participate in two ways.
A framed painting - titled "Anticipation" - by local artist Terry Martin is on display at Cottonstone Gallery, 116 E. High St. The public is invited to stop by the gallery and place a silent auction bid on the item. The starting bid was $350.
Three items donated by NASCAR star Carl Edwards are also on display at Cottonstone Gallery. The items include a signed miniature replica of a Carl Edwards car and signed visors. Chances to win the visors are $1 a piece and chances for the replica car are $5.
