WARDSVILLE - The Blair Oaks freshman team split a doubleheader with Fatima on Monday.
Blair Oaks won the first game 9-8.
Kade Franks was the winner, allowing two runs in three innings while striking out four. He added two hits and three RBI. Ethan Rackers had two hits and two RBI, Mason Gipe added two hits and an RBI and Ryan Paschal and Ben Forck both had two hits.
Blair Oaks then lost 9-7.
Clayton Backes took the loss. Franks had two hits and two RBI, while Scott Farley added two hits.
Blair Oaks is now 5-1 on the season.
