High waters closed more than a dozen Cole County roads Thursday afternoon.
They included: Waterford, Meadows Ford, Murphy Ford, Campbell, Payne, North Branch, Engineers, Bainer, Loesch, Buffalo, East Lohman, Zion and Settlen roads.
The Public Works department was monitoring conditions and planned to reopen roads when possible.
