MOKANE, Mo. - Ryan Mantle allowed three hits and no earned runs while striking out five in five innings as Linn claimed a 4-1 victory against South Callaway on Tuesday.
Ben Klebba pitched a scoreless sixth inning to earn the save for the Wildcats in the rain-shortened game.
Tony Mebruer tallied two hits and drove in two runs, while Daulton Niederhelm and Mantle added hits for Linn. Klebba chipped in with an RBI to help pace the Wildcats at the plate.
Linn (3-1) will play at New Haven at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
