MOBERLY, Mo. - The Fatima Comets finished a strong second in the Moberly Invitational that concluded Saturday.
Fatima opened tournament play Thursday with a 3-0 victory against Kirksville.
The Comets played a semifinal game Saturday against Marshall, coming out with a 1-0 victory. Evan Schulte tallied the goal, while Justin Bax picked up the shutout in goal.
Fatima then lost to Fort Osage 4-1 in the title game after trailing 1-0 at halftim.e Kaleb Bauer scored the Comets' goal.
Fatima (5-5) hosts Missouri Military Academy on Tuesday.
