NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - New Bloomfield's offense exploded in a 13-7 win against the Eugene Lady Eagles on Thursday.
Abby Haas had three hits, including a double, and drove in four runs for the winners. Taylor Howard added four hits and one RBI, while Madison Love had two hits and three RBI. Mikayla Steele had a single, double and one RBI, while Bethany Craighead added two hits.
Love was the winning pitcher, working the first five innings. She gave up six runs, although only two were earned, on six hits while striking out seven. Craig pitched the final two frames, giving up one unearned run.
New Bloomfield (6-5) will play Monday at Sturgeon.
