NIXA, Mo. - Helias squeaked out a 25-23, 25-20 victory against Nixa on Thursday.
Tory Wiley led the way with seven kills, while Anna Murphy added six kills and two blocks. Brittney Engelbrecht registered 17 assists and eight service points, and Blake Berhorst collected 14 digs.
Helias (3-1) plays in the West Plains Showdown on Saturday.
Helias won the JV match 25-13, 25-14 to improve to 4-0.
Hannah Eynard had five kills and three blocks to pace the Lady Crusaders. Haley Samson added seven digs and Heidi Strobel contributed six service points and five assists.
