HERMANN - The Jefferson City Lady Jays broke into the win column Thursday, topping the Hermann Lady Bearcats in three games.
The Lady Jays were 25-16, 22-25, 25-13 winners.
Abbi McKnelly had 24 kills for the Lady Jays, while Maggie Albert totaled 31 kills and Mallory York finished with 13 digs.
Jefferson City (1-2) will play Saturday at the St. Francis Borgia Tournament.
The Lady Jays captured the JV match by a 25-16, 25-22 score. Mary Vandelicht had 10 service points and nine kills for Jefferson City. Cara Caby had five digs.
In the freshman match, Jefferson City was a 25-18, 25-8 victor. Bailey Conrad had 13 service points and Olivia Hart finished with a pair of kills.
