Two injured in Wednesday morning accident

Two Jefferson City residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday on U.S 54 at Hammann Road in Cole County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Dodge Caravan, driven eastbound by Adrianna K. Sanders, 20, pulled into the path of a 2001 Dodge Ram truck, driven westbound by Michael F. Mistler, 62, and the vehicles collided.

Sanders and Mistler were taken to Capital Region Medical Center.

Both were wearing seat belts.
