Suspects sought in Jefferson City High School burglary

Police are seeking information on two men who are suspected of burglarizing the Jefferson City High School locker room.

Jefferson City police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Jefferson City High School Weber Field House this week.

Police reports show this occurred between 3:57 and 4:25 p.m., Monday.

At least two suspects entered the locker rooms during a football game and cross county practice.

The suspects cut off the locks on numerous lockers with bolt cutters and stole 12 cell phones and money from the lockers.

Total value of the thefts is approximately $3000.

The suspects are described as:

• Suspect 1 - black male, late teens through mid-20's, between 6'0 - 6'4 220 lbs. wearing black hooded sweatshirt with a yellow symbol and writing on the back, and white athletic shorts.

• Suspect 2 - black male, late teens through mid-20's, between 5'10 - 6'1 approx. 165 lbs. wearing a green and black NBA Grizzlies ball cap, gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants with a red stripe down each side and tan shoes.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark gray Chevrolet Impala four-door, manufactured after 2006 due to body style, with no front license plate.
