Dear Editor:
By now it should be clear that tea party Republicans in the House of Representatives are holding America hostage to attain their goals.
They rightfully can be called many things including radical, unreasonable, mad, stupid, extreme, anarchists, delusional and worse.
They should also be called what they are, political terrorists. They are ready and willing to bring down the U.S. government and even the global economy to accomplish their goals despite the terrible harm and pain that will be experienced by millions.
Tea party zealots are literally revolutionaries trying to overthrow our government.
If they succeed with their ransom demands now, it will only embolden them in the future to escalate their tactics and inflict more harm on America.
I think the FBI should step in now and arrest them as the terrorists that they are. They should then be tried for treason since they have betrayed their oaths of office and the American people. America deserves better than these anarchists trying to destroy our country.
