Several local youth competed in the Junior Crusader 1-mile cross country challenge Saturday at Binder Park.
Winners on the boys side were Logan Hancock (grades 1-3) with a time of 7:37; Cole Going (grades 4-5) with a time of 6:33 and Conner Frank (grades 6-7) with a time of 6:09.
Winners on the girls side were Josie Starr (grades 1-3), 7:26; Paige Allen (grades 4-5), 7:25; and Morgan Yanskey (grades 6-7), 6:46.
